Vegetables were chopped and ready to go as we listen to Danny Kaye's story entitled, "Nail Broth Soup". Some of the children assisted with making 2 kinds of soup with the vegetables that were donated and some bread. We watched throughout the day as the bread machine churned and the bread rose and baked. We had so many vegetables that we decided to roast some too! Merci for all of your donations!
During the middle block we attend a FAH spirit assembly where we danced and watch a PowerPoint presentation of various events that the school participated in during February and March. We had to shout, "Bonhomme de neige" when we saw the snowman we decorated during our winter play day.
Last block was packed with fully engaged children creating Easter activities and eating vegetable soup, roasted vegetables, fruit salad, and freshly baked bread. In no time, 2:55 p.m. came around and we had to hurry the children out to get ready for the bus. They were enjoying their soup so much that they didn't want to leave without finishing it.
Wishing you a great night, a relaxing long weekend, and a Happy Easter!
