Watching things floating in the Frog Pond allowed us to bring our learning into the classroom and test out which classroom objects float (flotte) and which objects sink (coule).
We have also been talking about spring flowers that will soon be blooming everywhere. We extended this learning to a guided art projects, where we learned about curved lines, and depth using crayon and water colour. They are such awesome artists! Bravos, les amis !!!!!
Our classroom continues to lead the way in environmentally conscious students and families!!!!! We won the Golden Water Bottle award for primary division for the most students using reusable water bottles and the least amount of recyclable containers! Bravo !!!!!
We were fortunate enough to have wonderful parent volunteers come into our class to help out with Scientists in the School. Thank you so much! Without you we would not be able to do all of these great activities! MERCI !!!!! We learned all about lever, pulley, gears, and ramps! It was so much fun!
They have done an excellent job working together on their Australian animal projects. Many have completed their project and have demonstrated their learning to Mme McMillan. Wow! We cannot believe the great work presented! Bravo encore les amis !!!!!!!
