Going to the local park, we are deepening our abilities to work with and encourage our peers, improve our gross motor skills as we challenge our bodies, and maybe even get an "ice cream" too at the "store" under the slide.
We have been paying particular attention to our shadows and are noticing that on cloudy days they are nowhere to be found. As the day begins and comes to an end, we also notice how our shadows lengthen, shorten, and lengthen again. "It all has to do with the position of 'le soleil!'"
On rainy days, we often spend time (in our small groups) in the Makers' Space in the library, playing games or building.
Our class, along with Mme Hartmanns', will be presenting in an assembly this Thursday at 9am. Please have your child wear a blue or green shirt, send them with a raincoat, boots, and umbrella too! Merci ! You are also very welcome to come and watch!
Your child continues to amaze us with their compassionate hearts and eagerness to learn! We are so delighted to greet them in the morning and work with them during the day! What a fantastic bunch we have!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!!!
