We have also spent long hours exploring the forested area at the bottom of the school yard. This amazing green space eventually connects with the conservation land of Hanlon Creek and Preservation Parks. We have spent time swinging on the “monkey vines,” watching the newly-hatched goslings and tadpoles in the pond, and studying interesting insects living on the milkweed pods. We feel so fortunate to have these wonderful community spaces nearby which provide endless opportunity to challenge our bodies and minds!
Please continue to send your child with a hat, water bottle, and sturdy outdoor shoes. For safety reasons, no strappy sandals or flip flops, please! Please apply sunscreen at home at the start of the day. We really appreciate your ongoing support!
