We had a wonderful walk to the fire station, following Mme McMillan along back streets and through a secret path. The firemen explained a lot about their truck and the equipment that can be found on it. The firemen were impressed by the great questions asked by the children. Our trip was cut short because of an emergency call, but we were able to see how fast they can get ready and we heard the sirens and saw the flashing lights too! Thank you again to the parents that volunteered to help us on our trip! MERCI !
Mme Brown and Mme England-Boyd's class buried a treasure and sent us a map to find it. It was such fun! We also discovered the top jaw/skull of an animal. Some of the children believe that it is a beaver and some a rabbit! We will have to Google search this together to discover what it is.
If you happen to have animal costumes that we can borrow for the children to wear for a song that we are preparing, would you kindly send it (them) to school with your child. Merci !
Have a super night!
