What fun we have had enjoying all of the snow as we trek about in the conservation area. This week at the "Étang de grenouille", the girls found a fish swimming under the ice. They were amazed that creatures are able to live and swim when it is so cold outside.
The playground has become quite muddy and the recess supervisors do their best to ensure that the children do not become covered in mud. Please remind your child not to "roll" in the mud, if you do not enjoy doing laundry that often. Mud and children are likes magnets! Thank you for continuing to send in clothing that suits our crazy weather. Depending on the temperature, warm socks and rubber boots may be best.
We continue to play with letters and sounds through singing songs, reciting poems, finding words that start with "S, V, B, etc...", naming the letter at the beginning of a word, playdough, pencil & paper, and playing social games.
Have an amazing Sunday!
