Our class has been learning all about signs of spring, including insects, birds, trees, flowers, and rainbows! We have also been enjoying the activities that come with spring: bikes, skipping, the climber, soccer, and the planting of trees.
Today we made yummy banana muffins that were both nutritious and delicious. We also wondered about how rainbow are formed, if they are solid, or whether we could put our hand right through one.
We had an awesome presentation by Loretta Penny, who should us many skeletons and skins from animals. She taught us the importance of preserving animals and how aboriginal people used animals in every day life.
We played in the sun with our book buddies on the climber and in the playground. The children challenged their bodies doing flips and pulling themselves across the play structure and watch as the pebbles tumbled down the slide. It was so much fun!
A reminder that tomorrow is library day.
Have an awesome night!
