With a lot of determination and elbow grease, the children painted and decorated the classroom car! This may now explain the red and black paint on some of the children's clothing! Thank you for continuing to support our program by sending your child to school in clothing that they can play and explore in - without fear of getting dirty! We are a class that likes to learn through doing, which really is the best way! Merci ! Merci ! Merci !
Some of the children decided to create mini cars with leftover pieces of wood and other materials from the art centre. While others tested out the distance and velocity their dinky cars would travel, by launching them on the ramps and bridges they created.
Creating books is another great activity that has inspired the children. It is great to see their imagination flow through their illustrations and emerging writing skills.
Thank you too for continuing to send layers for outdoor play. The temperature can be quite cool in the morning and by the afternoon we are into the teens. Dressing your children in layers allows them to stay at a good temperature during all outdoor play. Again, we are a class that LOVES outdoor play and spend quite a bit of our time learning outdoors. What fun it is to learn numeracy and literacy through scientific exploration!
It is parent-teacher interview time and we would like to discuss your child’s progress with you. We are currently scheduling interviews on Friday, November 27th, from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm. We will be sending out emails with a time that we believe best suits your schedule. If this time does not work, please send us a email and we will look into finding a time that meets all of our needs.
Well, I am pleasantly exhausted from my day and I wish you all a good night!
Bonne nuit !
