Before the games began, the children reviewed the statistics from the last Winter Olympics and then they predicted how many medals (gold, silver, & bronze) that Canada would win. Each time we win a medal, one child makes a paper medal and adds it to our tracking board. What a great way to teach math!
Can you believe that we have been in school for 100 days! Wow! It is so great to watch how your child has developed since September. We ended today with a mini-celebration (air popcorn with olive oil and salt, and a Kratz Brother mini-movie about whales and giant squids).
