We had 4 new visitors today-our new junior kindergarten children. They had a short hour visit and really seem to enjoy themselves. Our senior kindergarten children were excited to share and show them around too.
We are really working on routines such as: walking quietly in the hallways as to not disrupt the other classes, sitting in a circle knee-to-knee so everyone can see, cleaning up when we are done playing, being quiet during quiet time, and taking turns when sharing our thoughts. Tomorrow we will also practice what to do during a fire alarm.
Our caring story of the day was, "Heartprints", with a heart-shaped hand print paint activity.
Mme Linda gave us a "grand bijou" for having such an extremely neat and tidy classroom. We are so proud!
REMINDERS:
Please remember to complete and return all forms as soon as possible.
As soon as all of the blue forms (allowing for short walks around the neighbourhood) are returned we can start to venture into and explore the nearby forest.
Another wonderful day!
