Later on in the day, another small group of children went on a scavenger hunt to see what they could find in the school. When they found something interesting, they used great French sentences (e.g., "J'ai trouvé deux mitaines. J'ai trouvé un coeur.") and also drew their observations. We also happened upon a junior student measuring the hallway and helped him count how many metre sticks long (20 metres and 32 centimetres long).
We ended with our 25 minutes of DPA (Daily Physical Activity) playing in the snow!
