Another fun and wet day! The children took full advantage of the water in the playground. They worked together and used the trucks and front loaders to move mud and water from one area to another. The outdoor play kitchen was serving various types of food: pies, pizza, soups, etc... They challenged their bodies to see how far they could jump over the puddles. They also watched the changes in the water as they jumped, ran, walked, and threw sticks into the puddles.
We are working on the letter "T" this week. Our Étoile de la semaine did a great job presenting her sparkling poster. Bravo !
Mme McMillan went to a conference this past weekend in Stratford and is excited to share what she learnt with the rest of the kindergarten team. Merci !
Notes:
Love the rubber boots!
Please remember that our trip is this week. Children need to bring a lunch that is easy for them to handle, clothing that is appropriate for the weather, and if you feel they need a change of clothing in their backpack please put them in. Speaking of backpack, please ensure that they are not overloaded for our trip, as our walk to stow them away may be a little farther than they are used to. Merci !
Friday is a Professional Development day and there is no school for the children on this day.
Bonne nuit !
