We read the book Heartprints, by P.K. Hallinan. This book is similar to, Have you Filled a Bucket Today? It speaks about how doing acts of kindness brings happiness to others. We have placed a few sheets of blank heartprints in your child's "sac de communication". What we would like you to do is to write down acts of kindness that you see your child doing while at home or out in the community. Please cut them out and send them completed heartprints in your child's "sac de communication".
Here are some examples:
- "Name" helped tidy up the kitchen by bring all of the dishes to the counter.
- When "Name" noticed that his/her brother/sister was sad, he/she tried to cheer him/her up by.....
- "Name" cleaned up her/his room without even complaining.
- "Name" helped rake the leaves.
The children are trying to do 100 acts of kindness before the 100th day of school! We can do it!
I will create another post of our awesome week!
Have a lovely weekend! Bonne fin de semaine !
