During our forest clean-up, we can across two more skulls. We found a squirrel skull and some type of bird skull. It took us a while to figure out that it was not a skull from a mammal. We thought at first that it might be a raccoon or a fox skull, but then decided that it was a skull of a prey because the eye sockets were off to the sides. Then upon further examination, we decided that it was not a mammal after all. We discussed the characteristics of a mammal and then continued our research. We have concluded that it is a skull from a large bird, but we still have not figured out which kind. Oh how mature their conservations have become! And so scientific! We are so proud of our students and it has been amazing to see their progress over time.
Our school assembly was a great success today and the children did an amazing job presenting their song in front of the whole school! Bravo les amis ! C'était fantastique !!!
Have a wonderful night!
