On Thursday, September 25th, the entire school will participate in the Terry Fox Walk/Run, by walking around the playground. HEARTPRINTS!
Yesterday, we read the story, Kindness is Cooler, Mrs. Schooler. This story is about kind things that we can do throughout the day to make the world a better place (e.g., being a good friend, sharing, helping, using kind words, etc). We have sent home a sheet of paper with six heartprints. When you see your child engage in an act of kindness, please write it down on a heartprint and return it to school. Please cut the heartprint out and ensure that your child's name is on the heart. Our goal is to have 100 heartprints by the 100th day of school.
Have a wonderful evening and we hope to see you tonight.
