We can't wait to see you tomorrow! Have a great night!
The children are so excited about our Open House tomorrow! Another small group made yummy cookies with Mme Hillen in the kitchen. These were special egg and diary free cookies that we had to hide from the staff, as they smelled so good! Mme Tipler's group started out with a numeracy lesson (concentrating on number 2). Next they made planets or aliens using markers, 2 Styrofoam balls, 2 pipe cleaners, and 2 eyes. We ended our day with our book buddies. We also learnt how to add expression to our sentences by adding an exclamation mark at the end. (I think this is my favourite ponctuation mark!) Today small groups rotated between the computer lab, library, and classroom, where they placed literacy games, read books, made aliens or created spacecrafts out of boxes, pop bottles, toilet paper rolls, and duct tape. Oh, the fun we have with our recyclables! They are great to have and allow the children to really use their imaginations. At times, I am sure we look like a recycling plant! :)
We can't wait to see you tomorrow! Have a great night!
