Unfortunately we were unable to play outside due to the rain, so we engaged in additional activities such as learning how to tint a colour to make it lighter and lighter, the "doctor" in the class "brought a student back to life", watched our friends try to organize a play, and we ended the second block putting the storyline of "Pete le chat" back in order, and matched the sentences with the pictures.
Fortunately, the rain let up and we were able to play outside. Worms seem to be a hot topic again and many have been added to our classroom terrarium. We came back in to engage in some fun gym activities with Mme Burkhart. At the end of the day, we listened to the thunder clap and watched the rain pour down the gutters and onto the playground. We read a book about a rabbit's journey through the forest experiencing spring for the first time and then completed a journal entry about spring.
Please remember that the Kindergarten Team has a meeting right after school at 3:10 p.m. so if your child is a walker, we would appreciate if you could be prompt. Thanks for your understanding. :)
Have a great night!
